PLMA'S World of Private Label, the European (Netherlands) International Private Label Exhibition, is hosted by the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) and held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands every May. The exhibition began in 1986 and is the largest, most effective and most attended international private label exhibition in the world. It occupies 14 exhibition halls of the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition Center and is divided into food and non-food areas.
Private label (OEM) refers to the collection, organization and analysis of consumer demand characteristics for certain commodities by retail enterprises, and the establishment of their own production bases or the selection of suitable production enterprises for processing and production. Retail enterprises use their own trademarks to register the new products and sell them at various sales outlets of the enterprise. Private label products emerged in developed Western countries and are now becoming more and more popular in the world, especially in Europe and North America.
