2024 Straits (Fuzhou) Fisheries Week·China (Fuzhou) International Fisheries Expo was successfully held at the Straits International Convention and Exhibition Center in Fuzhou from May 31 to June 2, 2024.
According to statistics, there are 15 marine fishery projects in this year's Fisheries Week·Fishery Expo, with a total contract value of 22.091 billion yuan; marine science and technology "unveiling the list and taking charge" technology projects signed, a total of 19 technology projects were approved, 12 on-site contracts were signed, and the total investment was 19.5 million yuan. The on-site retail sales of the Fisheries Expo were 260 million yuan, and the economic and trade matching amount was 1.189 billion yuan; there were 25,126 professional buyers on site. On the first anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Honduras, the Fuzhou Fishery Expo set up the guest of honor, the Honduras National Pavilion, to showcase the special Honduran shrimp, and the ambassador to China also visited the scene. The atmosphere of on-site business matching was very lively. At present, preliminary cooperation intentions have been reached with more than 50 importers/traders, and some importers will also visit Honduras for on-site inspections.
