The Thailand International Machinery Manufacturing Exhibition is held annually in Bangkok, Thailand, and has been successfully held for 30 sessions so far. Market Analysis
In 2018, the bilateral import and export volume of goods between Thailand and China was US$79.93 billion, an increase of 7.8%. Among them, Thailand imported US$50.23 billion from China, an increase of 12.3%, accounting for 20% of Thailand's total imports. Thailand's trade deficit was US$20.53 billion, up 33.9%.
Mechanical and electrical products account for half of Thailand's total imports from China. In 2018, imports amounted to US$23.57 billion, up 12.9%, accounting for 46.9% of Thailand's total imports from China.
China-ASEAN Free Trade Area is China's largest foreign free trade area. At present, the total economic volume of the two sides is close to US$13 trillion, accounting for nearly 60% of Asia and 13% of the world's total trade; more than 90% of the product trade tariffs between China and ASEAN have been reduced to zero.
