This means that people who plan to travel to China in the United States will no longer need to provide round-trip air tickets, hotel reservations, detailed itineraries or invitation letters when applying for visas to China.

5. No obvious or potential non-compliance with the requirements

On January 2, local time, Thai Prime Minister Setha Thavik revealed to the media after attending a cabinet meeting that Thailand's visa-free entry policy for Chinese tourists will be valid until February 29, 2024, and is about to expire.

After continuous communication and consultation with China, good news has come. China and Thailand will implement a mutual visa-free entry policy from March 1, which means that no visa is required for travel between the two countries.

Huang Qinhui, vice president of business for Greater China at Hyatt Hotels Group, predicts that in 2024, with the improvement of air transport capacity and the return of more international activities, the number of passengers entering China will increase.

Julia Simpson, president and CEO of the World Travel & Tourism Council, said that China's tourism industry is currently "recovering very strongly" and it is expected that China will surpass the United States within 10 years to become the largest single tourism economy.
