Changi Airport currently has 242 automatic customs clearance channels, and the airport will gradually completely cancel the manual customs clearance counters, and will further promote contactless channels in all aspects next year!

All departing passengers and arriving Singapore residents can pass through customs without showing their passports, and truly rely on "face recognition for entry and exit"!

And this is not only used for Singaporeans, but also for foreigners! In the future, all inbound passengers can use automatic customs clearance~

② The airport will also launch 64 special auxiliary customs clearance channels this year

This is mainly for people with limited mobility. It is currently only available in the departure hall of Terminal 1 and the entry and exit hall of Terminal 2.

This will be implemented in all terminals this year.

The Singapore Customs Department once stipulated that there are two channels, red and green, at the Singapore immigration checkpoint. If you carry items that exceed the consumption tax and tariff concessions and other items that need to be paid, controlled or restricted items, and prohibited items, you must use the red channel.

If you do not carry these controlled and prohibited items, you need to go through the green channel.
