1. Introduction to the exhibition:

Manufacturing Indonesia is hosted by Allworld Exhibitions Group. (The group is headquartered in the UK and holds more than 100 professional trade fairs around the world every year, with a history of more than 100 years.) It is a professional manufacturing exhibition with a long history in Southeast Asia, exhibitors and visitors are internationalized, and it has a history of more than 30 years. It is known as one of the top 20 manufacturing exhibitions in the world.

Since 2022, as the COVID-19 pandemic has gradually eased, the Indonesian economy has maintained its recovery momentum since the second quarter of 2021. In the first and second quarters of 2022, Indonesia's GDP grew by 5.01% and 5.44% respectively, and the growth rate in the second quarter has exceeded the pre-epidemic level. Consumption recovery and export growth have supported the expansionary growth of the Indonesian economy. As of July 2022, Indonesia's foreign trade has achieved a surplus for 27 consecutive months, and the Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) in July was 51.3%.

3. Market introduction: Indonesia has a stable political environment and a population of nearly 250 million. It is the largest economy in Southeast Asia. Among the G20 countries, Indonesia's economic growth rate is second only to China and India, ranking third in the world. In the past decade, bilateral trade between China and Indonesia has grown rapidly. In 2013, China became the largest exporter and importer of non-oil and gas products to Indonesia. In October 2013, the governments of China and Indonesia jointly decided to upgrade China-Indonesia relations to a strategic partnership, promote cooperation in various fields in multiple ways, and carry out exchanges and cooperation at a higher level, in a wider field and on a larger stage. In 2015, the total bilateral trade volume between China and Indonesia reached US$54.227 billion, accounting for 11.5% of the total bilateral trade volume between China and the 10 ASEAN countries. From January to December 2015, the top five products exported by China to Indonesia were machinery, electronics, steel, steel products and plastics and their products, with a total export volume of US$16.63 billion, accounting for 48.4% of China's total exports to Indonesia. Among them, machinery is the No. 1 export product, with an export volume of US$6.399 billion.
