2024 Mexico International Clothing Fabrics and Footwear Exhibition (Intermoda)

 The "International Trend Fashion Fabrics and Shoes" in Mexico is the largest textile, clothing, fabrics and shoes exhibition in South America and Mexico. The exhibition is held twice a year and hosted by the Mexico International Fashion Group. It has been successfully held for 30 years. With international and domestic support, the exhibition is getting bigger and bigger, and its reputation is constantly improving. Now it has developed into a professional and free trade event for the textile and clothing manufacturing industry in the region. The exhibition area of the last session was 36,000 square meters. 700 exhibitors from more than 30 countries including China, the United States, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Spain, Portugal, Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, India, Pakistan, South Korea, Peru, etc. participated in the exhibition, opened 1,300 booths, attracted visitors from 44 countries, more than 180,000 visitors, and 25,000 professional domestic and foreign traders.

 As a trade bridge between South and North America, Mexico has a high degree of economic openness and has established trade relations with more than 200 countries and regions in the world. It has signed the "North American Free Trade Agreement" (NAFTA) with the United States. According to NAFTA regulations, the United States has abolished the quota restrictions on textile and clothing imports from Mexico since January 1, 1994, and granted a series of tariff preferences. At the same time, Mexico has a South American consumer market with a population of 1.4 billion, which is an important way for companies to develop the South American market. Most South American countries such as Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Colombia and other countries have signed "free trade agreements" with the United States, so the market for clothing fabrics, accessories and shoes in South America is huge. This exhibition is an important channel to enter the South American market and expand the US market.
