2. Exhibition Background

Belarus is an important channel from Eurasia to the European Union and Atlantic ports, an important hub connecting the Baltic and Black Sea countries, and one of the countries where the "Silk Road Economic Belt" extends westward. China is Belarus' third largest trading partner and also Belarus' largest trading partner in Asia. In recent years, the scale of cooperation between China and Belarus in the economic and trade fields has continued to expand, the scope has continued to broaden, and the degree has continued to deepen. With the financing support of Chinese financial institutions, the two sides have implemented a number of major projects in the fields of power energy, infrastructure, industrial production, industrial park construction and development, etc., which have contributed to Belarus' economic and social development and modernization, and won a good reputation for our enterprises, equipment, technology and services in Belarus.

The China-Belarus Industrial Park is an industrial park that my country has participated in building overseas, and it is also an important project to implement the "Belt and Road" initiative. It has received high attention and personal promotion from the heads of state of the two countries. The total planned area of the China-Belarus Industrial Park is 91.5 square kilometers, and the total investment is expected to be nearly US$6 billion. In January 2019, Belarusian President Lukashenko signed a presidential decree to grant the China-Belarus Industrial Park the status of a regional special economic zone, so that residents and enterprises in the park can enjoy the relevant customs convenience policies of the Eurasian Economic Union to a large extent in terms of logistics, transportation and production activities.

Since February 2022, the global political and economic situation has undergone major changes. The gap in imports from my country to Belarus and surrounding areas, especially electromechanical products, auto parts and other products, and light industrial products has surged. According to customs data, there is a demand of about US$55 billion.

Belarus market analysis/necessity analysis of enterprise participation:

(I) Market prospects are positive: Belarus has a superior geographical location and is an important node for Chinese companies to go global and explore the Eurasian market. From the current customs data and procurement demand, it is understood that the market prospects are positive. After the normalization of the epidemic, local governments have issued corresponding policies to support enterprises in exploring international markets. The bilateral relations between China and Belarus are improving, and market conditions and demand are mature. It is a must for participating in overseas exhibitions in 2024.

(II) Implementing national strategies: The China-Belarus Industrial Park is an industrial park with the largest overseas investment scale in my country. So far, the China-Belarus Industrial Park has successfully settled in more than 130 enterprises from all over the world, and successfully held the first two China Goods and Services (Belarus) Exhibitions in 2019 and 2023, accumulating rich resources of domestic exhibitors and buyers in Belarus and surrounding areas. We sincerely invite all enterprises to participate in the 2024 China Goods and Services (Belarus) Exhibition to help enterprises explore the international market, invest and set up factories abroad, and open up a new long-term and systematic foreign trade situation.

(III) The conditions for holding exhibitions in the China-Belarus Industrial Park in Belarus are favorable: The China-Belarus Industrial Park is located on the east side of the urban area of Minsk, the capital of Belarus, and it only takes 25 minutes to drive from the urban area to the industrial park. The exhibition center of the China-Belarus Industrial Park is adjacent to Minsk International Airport, and both the airport and the exhibition center are within the scope of the China-Belarus Industrial Park. The park can directly clear customs and store exhibits transported to Minsk by China-Europe trains, air and land, and can meet accommodation and catering needs in one stop. The organizer of this exhibition can assist exhibitors to store exhibits in the exhibition center for free within one year after the exhibits arrive in Minsk for medium- and long-term publicity. It is beneficial for enterprises to participate in overseas exhibitions from the perspective of epidemic prevention and control, brand promotion, and long-term order opportunities.

III. Exhibit Scope

IV. Supporting Activities

(I) Opening Ceremony + Opening Ceremony for Local Groups

It is planned to be held at 10:00 am on the first day of the exhibition in the exhibition hall, with a scale of about 100 people. It is planned to invite Belarusian ministerial guests and above, the Chinese ambassador to Belarus, commercial counselors, relevant Belarusian trade associations, local well-known media, exhibitors and buyers. After the opening ceremony, the guests of the organizer will go to the local group exhibition area for the opening ceremony and tour the exhibition hall.

(II) Forum activities

It is planned to hold a summit forum and enterprise promotion at 10:00 am on the second day of the exhibition in the forum area of the exhibition hall, combining the market conditions of Belarus and the surrounding Eurasian Economic Union, and selecting appropriate industries to invite expert consultants, industry representatives, etc.

(III) "Light up the Silk Road and connect Europe and Asia" supply and demand matching activities

It is planned to cooperate with the organizer and local business associations at 14:00 pm on the second day of the exhibition to invite about 60 professional buyers to connect with Chinese exhibitors. Activity location: exhibition hall conference area or exhibition hall meeting room. The scale of the event is about 200 people.

(IV) Expand the publicity dimension to promote the effectiveness of enterprises participating in the exhibition

1. Through local professional magazines and industry newspapers in Belarus, vigorously promote and attract investment for Chinese brands, form a public opinion atmosphere in the industry, carry out Chinese brand building work in a planned and hierarchical manner, and invite visitors and buyers.

2. Through local professional associations and other professional organizations in Russia, invite Chinese exhibitors to negotiate.

3. With the help of the exhibition platform, the sponsoring media and the conference journal, vigorously promote the local group, and invite professional visitors and buyers for local group exhibitors through official channels.

4. Request support and assistance from the Chinese embassy and consulate in Belarus, professional business associations, and Chinese business groups, and conduct extensive publicity through local Chinese channels.

VII. Registration Method

Exhibitors shall fill in the application form (Appendix 1) and stamp and scan it to the exhibition organizer. Exhibitors shall pay a deposit of RMB 20,000 per 9 square meters standard booth to the organizer within the notification period to ensure the confirmation of the booth.
